Monte Vista is a recognized National Blue Ribbon School in Southern California. With an existing illustrated dog mascot 'Monty' already in place, an additional option was requested. One that speaks to the school's attributes, while also appealing to the wider community. The new design features local mountain topography combined with an iconic structural facade balanced in a central shield crest.
Logo Design
An additional iconic mark was created to supplement the new identity. The stamp-like form contains multiple visual reads. At first glance you might see a heart shape, a mountain form, or the schools initials.
